OPEC Delegation tours Sultan City for Humanitarian Services
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, November 18, 2007, SPA- A 120-member Delegation
of OPEC, comprising all member states of the Organization, toured here Saturday
Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz City for Humanitarian Services.
The delegation was received by the Executive President of the City Dr. Abdulaziz
bin Abdulrahman Al-shamikh and a number of officials.
The delegation toured various sections of the City and got acquainted through audio-visual
shows of services and specialized programs being rendered by the City.
At the end of the tour, the delegation watched a documentary film that explains
a series of successes achieved by the City through its contribution in treating
more than 120,000 patients ever since it came into existence in October 2002.
The royal Audience was attended by Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General and Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz,
The Governor of Riyadh Region as well as OPEC Secretary General Abdullah Salim Al-badri.
