Khelil affirms OPEC's Oil reserves enough for global demand
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, November 16, 2007, SPA- Algerian Minister
of Energy and Mining Chakib Khelil has reiterated that oil reserves of the members
of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries
(OPEC) will meet World demand for many years as per a study conducted by the Oil
Cartel.
OPEC has always striving its utmost to meet oil demand and to ensure the balance
even in difficult times, The Algerian News Agency quoted Khelil as saying.
"Despite the sudden slump of its production in 2003, OPEC was able to maintain some
kind of balance to avert price hikes," he elaborated. |
